Poetry of the Magical Australis is a serious yet whimsical study of Australian imagery with a peppering of migrant cultural magic.
This painting is in a style I call Abzantism. A juxtaposition of Byzantine style & technique learnt in the study of Iconography, combined with classical modernist themes.
